A blog first

So this is the first time that I'm putting something on here other than Ethan-related material....but I had to share this since it involves two of my abba's favorite things: baby laughter and the Nintendo Wii.

So close to crawling

If I'm not crawling by this time next week, I'll be very surprised. I can get up on all fours and almost start to stand by myself! When mommy and abba find me in the crib, I'm almost always standing up and banging on the bars like a prisoner. It's really sad for me, but really cute (and irritating) for them.

How could we ignore this beautiful weather? Mommy and abba brought me to Central Park the other day, and I went on my first swing. Wheee!!

A two trick pony

I guess turning 7 months old a few days ago flipped some sort of switch in my brain, because all of a sudden I've turned into an actual human being. I'm interacting with everyone like crazy, and I've developed two tricks: saying "mama" and standing up on my own. I am also graduating to a big boy car seat, because I've outgrown my baby-seat. Sweet! All you 1 year old chicks out there, take notice - I'm on the market.

Update!

So I like to post a lot of pictures but I never really tell you what's going on in this 6 month old head of mine.

I have been doing a lot of things lately; as you saw in my last video I roll over a lot, but this is kind of a problem because I roll all over the place when I sleep and inevitably bump into the crib and wake myself up. I cry and cry and cry until mommy or abba picks me up; they are pretty tired at this point I'd guess.

I went to the doctor for my 6 month checkup and much to my parents' surprise I barely weigh 19 pounds! They are such wimps; they thought I weighed at least 20.

I'm getting pretty interactive as I can now play with toys by myself.

I had my first "mommy and me" class today where I got to meet lots of other babies. This nice lady blew bubbles all over the place and I was fascinated.

Thanks to Aunt Meira for teaching me how to daven while abba was away in DC. I also want to thank her for everything she did for me this past week, including babysitting and making me laugh all the time!
