It's my mommy and Abba's 3 year anniversary today. I gave them the best present in the world this morning when I smiled for an hour! In other news, I'm growing to be a big boy - most of my outfits don't fit me anymore, but that's OK - Bubbe Roz bought me enough clothes for the next 5 years anyway.

Parental musings

Everyone has braced me for "the worst." That I'm never going to sleep again, that my life is no longer my own, that I have officially become an "adult" now. Nevermind the fact that we are sleeping well, etc - I have never felt better in my life. God really blessed us with a beautiful and healthy baby - everything beyond that is really superfluous. We often overlook the simple things in life like family and friends for the "sexy" things . like money, status, jobs, etc. I'll honestly say that while that stuff still matters and is important, I never thought they would matter so little. Life is a miracle, and after Shaina and I brought another life into this world, everything else is just....stuff. After having two weeks to think about this, there are really so few things in life worth complaining about if you're alive, healthy and have people who love you. That's all that matters.

My name is Ethan!

Hi everybody! I had my bris on Friday and officially became a member of the tribe. I didn't put up much of a fuss, and looked super cute for everybody in my Theodore J. Bear outfit. I got my name officially - in English, it's Ethan Lev Sugar. In Hebrew, it's Itai Lev Sugar. I'm not really sure what my parents are going to call me - they'll just have to see what sticks. Anyway, there was tons of food, and so many of my friends and family were there for me on my special day. Here are some of the pictures, and I'll have a video later!

Also, FYI - I had my first real shabbos this week. I napped, peed on my uncle Bryan and ruined his shirt, and pooped about 53 times. Sweet.
